A green bar appears on your RunIQ as GPS information loads (the green bar loads clockwise from the 12 o'clock position). If GPS fails to load, or takes more than 2 minutes to load, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
For Android Wear 2.0:
Option 1: Enable location
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap Connectivity
- Turn on Location from phone and watch (when on, the small circle turns blue and moves to the right of the gray circle)
Option 2: Force stop RunIQ - Start Run app
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap Apps
- Tap System Apps
- Scroll down and tap RunIQ - Start Run
- Tap Force stop
- Tap the blue checkmark on the right to force stop the app
- Reopen the RunIQ - Start Run app
For Android Wear 1.5:
Step 1: Enable location
- Exit the NB Start Run app
- Go to the RunIQ Settings
- Swipe up until you find the setting: Location ON/OFF
- Tap on Location to turn on/off
- Swipe up until you find the setting: Permissions
- Tap Permissions
- Swipe up until you find: RunIQ - Start Run
- Tap RunIQ - Start Run
- Location should be ENABLED. If DISABLED, tap to enable.
- Once ENABLED, swipe right to retreat to settings
- Swipe up until you find the setting: Strava
- Tap Strava
- Location should be ENABLED. If DISABLED, tap to enable.
Step 2: Enable GPS on RunIQ in the Strava app
- Exit the NB Start Run app
- Open the Strava app on your paired device (phone or tablet)
- Tap Settings
- Tap Wear
- Tick the box next to Use Device GPS
